BossMen Clinics is part of the Dr. Maher Mahmoud clinics. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, protected, retained and deleted when you use this website, patient account, appointment booking and patient chat.

BossMen Clinics operates branches in New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed and Mohandessin, and handles your information as described below at every branch.

Information We Collect

Depending on the services you use, we may collect:

• Your name, mobile phone number, email address, country and country calling code, and account identifier supplied by the Dr. Maher Mahmoud patient account service.
• Account verification and session information needed to sign in and protect your account. Sign-in credentials are handled by the account service.
• Appointment and booking details, including selected clinic branch, treatments, requested appointment date, booking reference, status and any notes you submit.
• Messages and support information you provide through patient chat, including conversation and message dates and status. Clinic staff can see whether you hold a Blue Card membership so they can answer in the right order.
• Basic technical and security information processed when you access the website and its features.

How We Use Your Information

Your information may be used to:

• Identify you and maintain access to your patient account.
• Schedule, confirm, manage, cancel and follow up on clinic appointments.
• Send booking confirmations and cancellation notices by email or SMS and contact you about your visit.
• Respond to questions and provide patient support through chat, including answering patients who hold a Blue Card membership first.
• Protect the security and integrity of the services and prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access.

Patient Accounts

Sign-in and patient accounts are provided by the Dr. Maher Mahmoud account service. BossMen receives the account information needed to identify you and manage your appointments, but does not receive or store your account password.

Authentication sessions are maintained using secure session mechanisms. Authentication credentials are not intentionally stored in plain text by BossMen.

Appointment Information

When you book, BossMen may store the information needed to identify and manage the booking, including your name, contact information, selected treatments, branch, requested date, notes and booking reference. The clinic may contact you to agree a visit time.

Booking records are held in clinic systems shared with Dr. Maher Mahmoud Clinics so the relevant team can manage your care. Historical booking information may be retained in anonymized or otherwise limited form when needed for operational, security, accounting, legal or medical record purposes.

Online Appointments

BossMen Clinics does not take online payments or provide online consultations through this website. If you use online appointment, payment or consultation services on Dr. Maher Mahmoud’s main website, any additional information you provide there is handled under that website’s Privacy Policy.

Cookies & Local Storage

BossMen uses essential browser storage for core functions. A secure session cookie maintains your sign-in, and a temporary state cookie supports the sign-in handoff. The browser may keep an unfinished booking draft in the current tab and remember the last clinic reply you viewed so the site can show an unread-chat indicator.

These functional storage items are not advertising profiles. This website does not set Google Analytics cookies. Sign-in and account services on the main website may use additional technologies described in its own Privacy Policy.

Data Protection

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted through the internet.

Third-Party Services

We may use trusted service providers to operate parts of the platform, including:

• Dr. Maher Mahmoud’s account and authentication service for patient sign-in and account details.
• Resend for email delivery where enabled and CEQUENS for SMS notifications.
• PostgreSQL database services for application, booking and chat data storage, shared with Dr. Maher Mahmoud Clinics for clinic operations.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining security, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations and keeping required medical or operational records. Retention periods may vary by information type and purpose.

Closing a patient chat does not delete its messages. Historical bookings or chat records may be anonymized, limited or retained when needed for legitimate operational, security, accounting, legal or medical record purposes.

Delete Your Data

You may request deletion of removable personal data associated with your patient account while keeping the account itself. The main clinic’s deletion process may remove information that can be deleted, such as active sessions and other removable account records.

BossMen booking and chat history may instead be anonymized or retained in limited form where necessary for clinic operations, security, accounting, legal or medical record purposes.

Delete Your Account

You may request permanent deletion of your patient account through the main clinic’s account deletion process. Account deletion removes the account and associated data that can be deleted, subject to information the clinic is required or legitimately permitted to retain.

Certain historical BossMen booking or chat records may be retained in anonymized or otherwise limited form when necessary for legal, security, accounting, operational or medical record purposes.

Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Request access to your personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of eligible personal information or your patient account.
• Request information about how your data is processed.

Children

Our services are intended to be used with appropriate involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
